Based on recent figures, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the identical period, the count of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to listen to individuals who have reached 100, their family or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s seismic events and shifts.
